The Great Wall
Monday - 16 September - We chose to visit the Jinshanling section of the Great Wall because it is less crowded than sections that are closer to Beijing - that meant driving about 140 km giving us a chance to see even more traffic in Beijing.
We also saw these signs on the highway, explaining why we hadn't seen any giraffes or elephants so far during the trip.
We were rewarded with a beautiful day and hardly anybody in that area of the Wall.
