2 Oct - to Guangchan

A cool foggy start...
...then through the village where other traffic has priority...
...then the road construction...
...then a few climbs in the hills and one of our busses catches up and passes...
...with an enthusiastic bike mechanic, translator, and driver checking to see we're okay...
...then, in a village at the top of a climb, with the day becoming hotter, this very nice local resident had put out a case of bottled water and he chased after every rider offering them a bottle.
We are seldom far from water, and we've seen a few kingfishers... I was lucky to catch this one in flight and then landing on a wire - the colours are quite different from the North American variety...
...and there are lots of egrets too...

Approaching Guangchan, the scenery agriculture changed as we found orange groves on both side of the road.

Today was 100 km, the longest so far this week. That changes tomorrow as we're into three successive 140 km days.
